QUESTIONS ABOUT EASTER YOUTH PROGRAMMING?
Contact Pastor Kevin Bergeson at pastorkevin@easter.org
Deacon Hans is on Sabbatical
During this time please keep him close in your prayers, say YES when asked to help serve during the minister’s absence. Or better yet, stand up and be willing to help without being asked! Lastly don’t overwhelm him before he leaves or after he returns. Sabbatical is a big undertaking for both the minister and the congregation.
What is a sabbatical?
The word comes from the root word sabbath, indicating a day of rest. In scripture, the seventh day is set aside as a sabbath, a day for rest and worship. A sabbatical follows a similar model, offering a time for rest and renewal after a time of hard work and productivity.
