Care Companions MINISTRY

Easter's Care Companions Ministry offers pastoral care through being a listening presence. There are four principles that guide our shared ministry: Through active listening... we are caring, not curing, offering a non-judgmental presence where God is present.

Care Companion volunteers meet with those needing support for life’s challenges: health issues, chronic illness, grief or loss, change/transitions, loneliness, isolation, homebound, etc.

EASTER’S PRAYER TEAM

As a faith community rooted in prayer, we believe that prayer changes lives and the world. In addition to our prayers together during worship, we have a team of people who pray throughout the week for others.

Each week the prayer team receives a list of confidential names and prayer requests to offer before God. If you have a passion for praying, care about others, and can honor confidentiality, this team is for you. Contact Jennifer Peloquin at jpeloquin@easter.org to be added to Easter’s Prayer Team.
