Who & What

CATCH provides and maintains safe, clean, affordable and accessible transitional housing for people with low and limited incomes in Dakota County.

  • An average of 200 families contact Dakota County monthly to request help with affordable, transitional or emergency housing.
  • 1 of 5 Minnesota households pay more than 30% of their income for housing.
  • Dakota County’s median rent and home cost is among the highest in the Twin Cities ($950/month for a 2-bedroom, $1,200 for a 3-bedroom).
  • A family dealing with an unexpected financial crisis (medical emergency, car repair, etc) can find themselves homeless.
  • Transitional housing is provided for up to two years.
