God is risen!! Risen indeed! Not just 2000+ years ago either, God is STILL risen. Jesus, fully God and fully human, experienced the extremes of living a life on earth- even death. He was, and still is absolutely and completely devoted to the life and love of God for all people. And we will be God’s witnesses! We are studying the book of Acts this Easter season. As the disciples come to understand the resurrection, as churches are born, and as the Word of God lives on in the most unexpected places of the world; we will be God’s witnesses.
