This fall, we’re celebrating that we’re free. Free at last! (Thanks be to God.) In worship we read the Israelites’ story, watching them figure out what it means to be free in God’s love; while wandering in the wilderness, while learning God’s boundaries, while wrestling with egos and struggling with politics. Just as God freed the Israelites from Egypt, we are free because of Jesus’s love. This freedom is always true and it’s always ours, especially when we wander and wrestle and struggle. Free at last!
