Stewardship at Easter

Stewardship is our faith response to God in all areas of life and all the time. The Five T’s of Stewardship is a helpful way to think about whole life stewardship.

5 Ts StewardshipT for Time

Time is a gift from God – the T for Time encourages us to find balance in life between family, work, play and spiritual grown. You can use your time to Serve Within Easter, Serve Locally, or Serve Globally.

T for Talent

This invites us to consider our special gifts and skills and how to use them to give glory to God and to serve others. You can use your talents to Serve Within Easter, Serve Locally, or Serve Globally.

T for Tissue

This promotes wellness (heart, mind, body, soul). It emphasizes caring for our physical health and relationships with others.

T for Trees

Being good stewards of the earth by recycling, reusing and reducing consumption of resources.

T for Treasure

The Bible teaches us to give gratefully, regularly, proportionately, from our ‘first fruits’, not our leftovers, and joyfullly – “God loves a cheerful giver” (1 Corinthians 9:7). Learn more about Treasure Stewardship.

The Stewardship Committee
The committee invites people to demonstrate their faith response by sharing their time, talents and treasures at Easter Church, in the community and in daily life. We seek to raise awareness of the Biblical meaning and purpose of stewardship.

The Stewardship committee…

  • oversees the annual General/Benevolence appeal
  • serves as a resource for other ministries involved in stewardship activities
  • ensures leadership is in place and equipped to serve on work teams as the offering counters and offering runners.
