Stewardship Committee
Develop plans, goals and actions for carrying out the vision and mission of Easter’s stewardship ministry. Time commitment: meets monthly. Contact: Judy Pascoe
Annual Stewardship Program and Fund Appeal
Help with special events and activities connected with the fall stewardship program. Examples include: greeters, event set-up/clean-up, food servers, decorations, posters and bulletin board, special mail preparations, etc. Time commitment: 2-4 hours in the fall. Contact: Judy Pascoe
Easter Creation Care Team
Plan and support activities and events to raise awareness of the importance of caring for the environment. Time commitment: meets monthly. Contact: Judy Pascoe
Garden Team
Work with others to maintain and develop flowers and gardens at both sites. Planting, design, planning and maintenance work. Time commitment: varies. Contact: Laurel Gaard
Blood Drive Organizing Team
Help organize blood drives at Easter Church. Recruit and schedule blood donors and volunteers to serve snacks, greet donors, set-up/clean-up. Time commitment: Twice a year, 6-8 hours, not including the day of the drive. Contact: Judy Pascoe
Health Promotion Team
Plan and promote health and wellness initiatives at Easter Church. Time commitment: meets monthly. Contact: Stacy Wollmuth
Offering Counter
Work as part of a team to record income from worship offerings and prepare bank deposits. Accuracy and number skills are necessary. Time commitment: 1-2 hours on Monday mornings or afternoons, about 16 times per year. Contact: Laurel Gaard
Offering Runner
Take worship offerings to the bank for night deposit following the 11 a.m. Sunday worship or special worship services. Time commitment: 20 minutes on Sunday at noon, about 6 times per year. Contact: Laurel Gaard
Adult Mowing Team
Mow and trim grass at the Hill as part of a volunteer team. Equipment supplied. Time commitment: 2 hours a week, 4-6 times between May and October. Contact: Laurel Gaard at 651-452-3680
Snow Shoveling
Shovel/snowblow church walkways at the Hill as part of a volunteer team. Equipment supplied. Time commitment: on call for one week at a time, 4-6 weeks between November and April. Contact: Laurel Gaard at 651-452-3680
Property Maintenance
Use painting, woodworking, electrical, plumbing or other mechanical skills to repair, maintain and build items at church that promote effective ministry. Time commitment: varies by project. Contact: Laurel Gaard at 651-452-3680
Memorial Path Team
Participate in planning improvements to the path and maintaining it according to plan. Time commitment: planning is 1 hour per month, work is 1-2 hours per month. Contact: Pastor Jim or Laurel Gaard
Library Team
Organize, dust, re-shelve books and arrange displays in the library at Easter on the Hill. Choose new books and maintain library records. Time commitment: 1-2 hours a month. Contact: Pastor Jim
Facilities Team
Help plan and implement building and grounds maintenance and repair. Evaluate needs, plan and host projects for volunteers, and coordinate seasonal schedules. Time commitment: 6-12 meetings per year. Contact: Laurel Gaard at 651-452-3680
