Congregational Events Planning Team
Help plan and facilitate events such as the church picnic, congregational dinners, or celebrations. Time commitment: 2 hours each month, plus events. Contact: Pastor Kevin Olson
Sunday Coffee Fellowship Team
Prepare coffee and cookie table at either site, serve between worship services, and clean up (can be done as a family). Time commitment: 3 hours, 6-12 times per year. Contact: Laurel Gaard
Sports Team Coordinator
Help organize a Christian sports team or league. Experience community and Christian growth through devotions and athletic activity. Time commitment: varies by sport such as softball, volleyball and golf. Contact: Pastor Kevin Olson
New Member Welcome Team
Welcome new members into the fellowship of the Easter community and help them make connections. Time commitment 1-5 times per year, 2 hours per time. Contact: Judy Pascoe
Prayer Team
Pray for those who are ill or in need of strength in their time of trouble, sorry or thanksgiving. Prayer requests are communicated via email, fax or mail. The entire team meets together once per year. The team leadership offers small group and retreat experiences. Time commitment: some time daily/weekly on your own. Contact: Pastor Kevin Olson
Meal Ministry
Provide meals to families in crisis and serve refreshments at funerals. The team meets together once per year for fellowship. Team captains make calls when meals are needed. Contact: Pastor Kevin Olson
Care Team
Respond to non-medical needs not routinely provided by existing social service programs, such as transportation, shopping, running errands, offering friendship, and providing respite relief for care givers. Time commitment: varies depending on needs; initial training is 4 hours. Contact: Pastor Kevin Olson
Older Adult Ministry Planning Team
Work with others to develop a vital aging ministry for, with and by senior adults at Easter Church to bring about better understanding and awareness of the issues of aging within the congregation. Time commitment: meets monthly, 2-3 hours. Contact: Pastor Kevin Olson
Transportation Ministry
Provide rides for Easter members undergoing chemotherapy, radiation therapy, or other medical treatment. Time commitment: varies depending on the needs. Contact: Pastor Kevin Olson
Easter Kin
A team of church members who assist the Pastors, visiting shut-ins, keeping a log and bringing communion to those unable to attend church. Contact: Kathie Poppen at 651-688-7386
Prayer Shawls
