By crossing borders of race, culture, economics, and geography on mission trips, we get outside our comfort zones and away from the distractions of everyday life. We offer many opportunities to serve globally.

Global Mission Magazine
A full-length magazine (privately funded) has been created that powerfully tells the story of Easter’s global mission activities. Pick up a copy at either site and read through it. You will be amazed, inspired and motivated. Pass it on to friends after you’ve read it! We encourage you to read these documents and prayerfully consider how you can participate in the Great Commission!
You can also check out a PDF version here (14.2M)
Paul Carlton, Global Missions Chair, is looking for volunteers to help assemble carts at the North Minneapolis location of the PET Cart project. For more information or to volunteer, contact email@example.com.
This photo shows one of the PET carts assembled and ready for use. PET Carts are hand propelled carts that are to be given away to individuals with no legs or no use of their legs.
Serving in Mission Outreach
Share the Gospel with more people expanding our mission efforts locally and globally. Care for more people with needs, for those within the “household of faith,” and for those outside the church community. Learn more about Mission Outreach at Easter.

Annually, Easter Lutheran Church participates in a world Hunger Appeal, raising from $8,000-16,000 to eliminate hunger around the world. 80% goes to the ELCA Hunger Appeal, 10% goes to Bread for the World (and advocacy ministry to eliminate hunger globally) and 10% goes to the local food relief in a partnership with Eagan Resource Center/Food Pantry (because global hunger is local, too).
