Welcome to Children’s Ministry of Easter! Children are encouraged to learn the love of Jesus, and share His love with others. We invite you to join in the fun of being blessed by God’s love through a variety of children’s educational activities!

Church School

Children age 3 – Gr. 6 join us for us! Church school sessions are offered on Sundays and Wednesdays from Sept. – May. 2012-2013 Church School Information and Schedule

Church School Offering
Did you hear? Church School children helped support Easter Serves which will take place in March through their weekly fall offering. Our next project- Starting in January part of our offering will go toward Camp Wapogasset in Amery ,WI. Camp Wapo is nestled among the forests and lakes of NW Wisconsin and Minnesota. The site and program have one common purpose: to provide opportunities for people to discover, build and celebrate their relationships with Christ, the church and each other.

Church School Teacher and Leader Appreciation
Wednesday, May 1 and Sunday, May 5, during Church School
“Let us give thanks and praise…” We have been blessed with wonderful church school leaders this year! Parents and students, help us celebrate the gifts these leaders have shared this year at Teacher Appreciation! Please watch for a note or email in April to see how you can help at Teacher Appreciation. Thank you!

Vacation Bible School (VBS)

Children age 3 – Gr. 5 can join in the fun at one of the sessions in June or July.

Everyone is welcome! There is something to do for kids of all ages. There is a lot to do as a family too. You’ll also want to get to know the 2013 VBS Theme – God’s Backyard and learn the lyrics!

Family Faith Nights

Celebrate a faith milestone in your child’s life, for example your child receiving their Bible or learning The Lord’s Prayer. Family Faith Night Celebrations are offered for families to gather together to worship, eat a meal, and learn fundamentals of the Lutheran faith.

First Communion

Easter church provides instruction for 5th grade students, and for younger children whose parents feel they are ready. Parent attendance is required at most sessions. 5th grade students are given three options for instruction. Early first communion is offered the end of January and early February. 5th grade First Communion Information and Early First Communion Information.

Musical Offerings

Inclement Weather Policy
Easter Church will cancel all youth activities for the day whenever ISD #196 (Rosemount-Apple Valley-Eagan) cancels school, closes early, or cancels evening activities on that day. If church programs are in session and the weather makes driving difficult, please use your best judgment to decide if you feel it is safe for you to travel to church. If your child will not be attending confirmation or handbell choirs, please contact his/her mentor or choir director at home.
