High School
High school students’ personal faith grows by putting it in action, empowering youth to DO and LEAD, and deepen their relationship with Jesus.
High school ministry, directed by Pastor Sarah Clark and led by adult and teen volunteers, is focused on relationships between youth, Christ, peers, family, and the church.
The following programs build and support those relationships:
Youth on Wednesdays (High School Youth Night)
Wednesdays, 7:30-9 p.m., Easter by the Lake
High Schoolers you are invited to become a YOWIE, and I am not talking about the Australian Cryptid. Our night includes worship, games, conversations, hanging out and God Talk. This is a great way to take a break from the rigors of life and be with friends. Anyone who is in high school is more than welcome to come, and you will be glad you did!

Laser Tag!
Friday, May 17, 8:30 -10 p.m., Easter by the Lake; Cost: $5
Please mark this on your calendars for an awesome one time event—LASER Tag! Meet at 8:30 p.m. at Easter by the Lake for LASER Tag. Friends are welcome. Create your own team, make t-shirts and join the fun.
3Ms (Monday Morning Musings for High Schoolers)
Mondays, 6:30-7:15 a.m., Easter on the Hill
Here is the perfect way to start your week. This is a new Bible Study opportunity for high school students. We meet Monday mornings at the Hill in the Fireside Room, currently we are studying the book of Romans. Come for some breakfast, juice and God Talk. We meet at 6:30 a.m., please join us. Questions? Backyard Bible Study
We are taking Bible Study to the people. This summer YOWIE (Wednesday night youth group) will be on the road. Instead of meeting at Easter Lutheran we will meet in people’s backyards. Don’t worry they know we are coming so it ain’t creepy. Friends, fellowship, food, and Our Father all of this packed into one night. Backyard Bible Study starts in June, more details coming soon.
Youth Choir (Grades 6-12)
Sundays, 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., Easter by the Lake
All Easter middle-and-high school youth are invited to be a part of a great youth choir. The group will meet from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. on Sundays and will sing all types of music throughout the year. We are already lining up cool opportunities to perform both in and out of worship! Youth Band
Interested in joining the youth rock band? We rehearse from 5:30-6:45 p.m. on Wednesdays and play for confirmation and several worship services during the year. This year, we’re looking to expand performances to other venues! We’re always looking for drummers, bassists, guitarists, keyboard players, and singers – bring your instrument or your voice! HS Youth Rock Band Auditions for Summer
May 14 & 15, 2:30-4:30 p.m., Easter by the Lake
Yo high schoolers, interested in joining the youth rock band worship team? We lead worship for elementary and middle school students on Sundays and perform at several big worship services throughout the year. Graduate Recognition
Sunday, June 9, Easter by the Lake
High school graduates will be celebrated and blessed at the 9:30 a.m. Outdoor service at Easter by the Lake. Grads and families are also invited to a celebratory breakfast at Easter by the Lake that same morning beginning at 8:30 a.m. Please RSVP for the breakfast by contacting Pastor Sarah at pastorsarah@easter.org or 651-452-3680. Please include the number of people in your party.
JUNIORS in High School…
We need YOU to provide breakfast for this year’s Senior Grad Recognition breakfast! Items such as fruit, juice, breads, muffins, and donuts will be needed. Please drop off your breakfast offering at Easter on the HILL on Saturday, June 8 by noon. (Yes, the breakfast is at the Lake- but we’ll transport the food on Sunday morning.)
